As many of you probably have noticed, the shop, blog, and everything in between has been ignored lately! Well it is because I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah! Moving is always such a hassle, but it is nice to finally be all settled in and I am finally learning how these darn roads work! I will be here for the summer, but will still continue to sell at Brittany Rae Boutique in Rexburg while I am located here. Also, BIG NEWS I have just teamed up with Sassarella Boutique and will soon start selling items on there as well! I have just started creating items for that boutique and they will be available very soon! Tomorrow, there will be an Artistry By McKenzie*G giveaway hosted by Mommy's Memorandum. I am giving away a very cute, super original one of a kind headband! I will post the link for that tomorrow, but make sure to enter in for that! If anyone knows of a fun boutique that would like selling my items here in Salt Lake City, please email me and I will look into that as well! I will be selling at the Rexburg and Idaho Falls Farmer's Markets this summer after I move back to Idaho too! I have a pretty busy summer as you can tell! But there are so many fun things to come! Current Workspace

Welcome to my space!

I have always been interested to see what other crafter's work spaces are like. I thought I would share with you what my current workspace is like!

I currently live in a little apartment (for another 2 weeks) in Rexburg, Idaho.

I use 1/2 of our spare bedroom as my workspace

My next space will be in my mother-in-law's basement for 9 weeks.

I am the traveling designer I guess!

I know it isn't much, but one day, I will have more room to decorate my studio as well. I have bunch of University of Utah football pictures all over the room. They were my father-in-law's and when he passed away, I decided to hang them up in this room. I also have a frame with pictures of my hubby. I try to stay as organized as I can in such a small space, but it can be a little challenging at times! I do feel good about the things I produce from this small space though!
P.S. Check out the little black and white damask inspired jar in the center/left of the page. My sweet husband painted that for me in one of his classes. Isn't he so cute?

Today the Very Merry Unbirthday Comb sold. It is definately bittersweet. I LOVE this comb so much. It will be going to a photographer though so I am really hoping she takes some pictures with it. That would just be a dream! I will really miss this piece. It is one of my very favorites.

So my hubby got some chocolate covered pretzels for his birthday and it came in this really cute tin box. When the pretzels were gone, I couldn't get myself to just throw it away. I gave it a makeover! I am SO going to store some of my materials in it! All I did was wrap it in scrapbook paper and hot glue ribbon, rolled felt roses, charms, tulle, and a little crochet flower on it! It looks so good! Take a look!

So I just need to take a moment to celebrate my Etsy weekend! I was able to finally take some great pictures of my new pieces and have decided that I am going to add at least 1 piece each day for the next two weeks. Right as the Superbowl was starting, I listed a new amazing veil and promoted it during the game. To my absolute suprise and excitement, it sold by the end of the game!! I was just so excited that I forgot to look where I was going to be sending this veil until this morning. It is going to Australia!! ABM*G is officially INTERNATIONAL!! Celebration!!
